A school nurse reported that ‘Michael’ lost his glasses. Going without them “is affecting his everyday academics and emotional state. He becomes very frustrated because he can not see the board, which in turn is causing him to act out.” NCFPSC understands that going without an essential tool in the classroom causes more than just one problem. As this school nurse stated, it affects a child’s emotional state as well. We are thankful she contacted us! Now, not only can Michael see the board, but his behavior has also greatly improved!
