Student Support Specialist, Shirley Townsend of Robeson County, implemented a Parent Involvement Center at her school. This quickly became a space in the school for parents to gain resources on how to help their child and themselves. This involvement enhances parents’ understanding of their child’s development and keep them involved in the day-to-day.
