The North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children celebrated our fifth annual Champions for Children Gala on May 5, 2017 at the beautiful Angus Barn Pavilion. 

Six champions were honored who have made a significant impact in the lives of children across North Carolina. Our honorees have distinguished careers in philanthropy, law, religion, business and government. While their professions are distinct, they all share a common passion for supporting our public school children and ensuring that all students have access to sound basic education. 

The Champions for Children’s Gala is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. Supports allows us to provide students with the tools and basic necessities they need to succeed in the classroom.
